I was born in New Rochelle, New York on a cold Thanksgiving Day.  So, I tell people that I am a "blessing"!  When people ask me "why" I moved to Utah and "why" I teach in Moroni, I tell them that I feel close being near the "turkeys".

I love what I do.  Teaching for me fills a void deep within my soul. I enjoy being around Middle School Kiddos and find them refreshing, humorous, honest, and a wonderful group to learn from as I grow up.  Sharing the day with this age group is the "best ever"!

I am fortunate to work with a wonderful group of educators who are dedicated to their profession. A principal that is the glue that holds this school together (and does a exceptional job in doing so).  Marvelous ladies that cook and feed us everyday the "yummiest" meals and the custodial staff that makes our "home away from home" look good!  Our Mindy and Peggy  keep track of everything and help us to stay on task when at times we are not sure of what is going on.....two beautiful ladies and wonderful women.  We also have a school counselor that is warm and compassionate and the kiddos love her.

North Sanpete Middle School is an awesome place to teach!

My momma and daddy live in Huntington, West Virginia.  I have two sisters and
they live in Knoxville, Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama.  My parents are Japanese and Scotch-Irish.  I am the mother of four....boy, girl, boy, boy.  My children have guided me thru life with unconditional love and support.  I love them so very much.
I am also blessed to have a beautiful daughter-in-law.  She is the ideal mother to my precious grandsons.  Benji and Sammie bring me much joy and happiness.  I love watching them learn and spending time with them.  They are so precious.

FAMILY is very important to me.

I love to travel.  I was married in February 2011 and we went to Hawaii.  It was beautiful!  It was everything I ever imagined.

There are so many things in life that I enjoy.  I love to sew !  I relieve stress by sewing and baking.  Cooking for me is soothing.  I love to read cookbooks/recipes.  Reading "how to" books and learning how to do new things is a hobby of mine.  Spending time with my husband is important.  I like to sit and read with him, beside him.  He makes me laugh and teaches me things in life, especially how to incorporate humor and how to see the funny things in life.  How not to take life too serious.

My favorite foods in life are: sushi, watermelon, popcorn, good chocolate, sukiyaki, and fresh peaches.
